Lang Motors is exploring a new type of service called “Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing” (P2P)
The average car is on the road for less than 5% of the time - The average car sits parked 23 hours a day. Lang Motors is exploring a new type of service that will allow NEV owners to lessen the environmental and economic impact of owning a vehicle. This service, called “Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing” (P2P), will allow NEV owners to share their vehicles by making them available to other drivers. In exchange, participating NEV owners will be paid a daily fee, as well as a fee per kilometre travelled by other drivers. These payments could entirely cover the monthly costs required in owning a NEV. This works best in the city / urban areas.
